The Malayalam Power Laundry & Dry Cleaning Company (Pvt.) Ltd.

(MAPLAD) is the first project of the Kuwait Koipuram Block Pravasi Association(KKPA). The Koipuram Block comprises of six panchayats and all people hailing from these Panchayats who work in Kuwait and those who are directly related to these panchayats can be members of this Association.

KKPA is an organisation exclusively for promotion of the industrial and social growth of the Koipuram Block, resulting in full employment, educational excellence and ideal health care. The scope of development and investment is not restricted to the Koipuram Block.

This will be the First Fully Automated Power Laundry in the Districts of Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Alleppey & Quilon. This will be the seventh power Laundry in the southern states of India.

The laundry will be equipped with the most modern cleaning and drying machines. The project also has features an effluent treatment plant and will be environment friendly. The facility uses only online treated water with low PH to ensure better cleaning. For hygenic wash,water is treated with thermic fluid which also results in energy conservation. Ironing would be done using steam press on vacuum suction tables; this would leave no wrinkles on the garments.
